Zoe Shumaker Bio

Pastels by Zoe Schumaker

“After moving to Southern Appalachia in 2005, I began painting to express my love of the landscape, and to communicate the importance of preserving it. For me, painting is like a conversation with Nature, where I listen with my eyes, and I paint with my heart. I hope my paintings communicate the joy and appreciation I feel for our beautiful world.”  see bio
